Valverde and Tchouameni were the stars of the event with club members and Real Madrid fans held at the Intercontinental Barcelona hotel. Shortly after the team's arrival, the two Real Madrid players signed autographs and had photographs taken with fans at the team's base ahead of the Clásico at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium (Sunday, 4:15 pm CEST).
"I'm really looking forward to starting now, to face a season that is going to be brilliant for everyone and with some incredible challenges ahead of us," he said in his first press conference as a Madrid player.
