Real Madrid's calendar up to Club World Cup

1 week(s)

The final stretch of the season has arrived and Real Madrid will be playing eight games before the Club World Cup: the last seven matchdays in the fight for the LaLiga title and the Clásico in the final of the Copa del Rey. “There are three competitions left and we have to be focused on LaLiga, the Copa del Rey final and the Club World Cup,” said Carlo Ancelotti.

The most pressing objective will be to take the three points this Sunday at the Bernabéu against Athletic Club on matchday 32 of the championship. Three days later, the Whites will visit Getafe in another league fixture ahead of the Copa del Rey final on Saturday, 26 April. Madrid will be looking to win the trophy in the Clásico at La Cartuja (Seville).

On Sunday 4 May, Ancelotti's side will return to LaLiga to face Celta at the Santiago Bernabéu. And a week later, on Sunday 11 May, the Clásico will take place away from home, on matchday 35.

Conclusion of LaLiga
In the last three days of LaLiga, with schedules to be confirmed, Madrid will host Mallorca (14 or 15 May), visit Sevilla (17 or 18 May) and play Real Sociedad at home (24 or 25 May). All of this, before kicking off the Club World Cup on 18 June against Al Hilal. “There is still LaLiga, the final of the Copa del Rey and the Club World Cup and we want to win all of them," said Thibaut Courtois.
