Real Madrid completed their first training session at The Gardens North County District Park in Palm Beach ahead of their round of 16 clash in the Club World Cup. Xabi Alonso’s team will face Juventus next Tuesday at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami (9pm Spanish time; 3pm local time).
The starters from the did recovery work in the gym and on the pitch without the ball. The rest of the squad began the session with a warm-up and then carried out defensive and attacking drills. The players finished with games of 6 versus 6 and shooting practice.
"I'm really looking forward to starting now, to face a season that is going to be brilliant for everyone and with some incredible challenges ahead of us," he said in his first press conference as a Madrid player.
