Real Madrid C. F. is pleased to announce that Sara Holmgaard will be playing for our club for the next two seasons, from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2027.
Holmgaard joins our club from Everton, where she has played since the summer of 2022.
She started her professional career at Danish club Vejle. Then she played for Fortuna Hjørring, where she won 2 Danish Leagues and 1 Danish Cup. From 2021, she was a member of the German side Turbine Potsdam, until she joined Everton.
Sara Holmgaard is a full international with Denmark.
"I'm really looking forward to starting now, to face a season that is going to be brilliant for everyone and with some incredible challenges ahead of us," he said in his first press conference as a Madrid player.
