David Alaba successfully underwent surgery today for a ruptured internal meniscus in his left knee. The operation was performed by Dr. Manuel Leyes and supervised by the Real Madrid Medical Department. Alaba will begin his recovery work in the next few days.
"I'm really looking forward to starting now, to face a season that is going to be brilliant for everyone and with some incredible challenges ahead of us," he said in his first press conference as a Madrid player.
